The Pakistan men's national cricket team represents Pakistan in international cricket and is governed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC). They are known by the nicknames "Shaheens", "Green Shirts", "Men in Green", and "Cornered Tigers". Pakistan has a rich and storied history in cricket, marked by periods of success and occasional inconsistency.

  • Debut: Pakistan played their first Test match against India in October 1952.
  • 1986 Austral-Asia Cup: Javed Miandad's last-ball six secured a famous victory against India in Sharjah.
  • Rise to World Number 1 (Test Cricket): This milestone was achieved in 2016, following their draw in the Test series against England.
